Kale (Oldenburger Gruenkohl)

For the #foodscanchallenge I scanned a serving of "Oldenburger Grünkohl" which is a traditional dish in my home town, Oldenburg. It is often served with potatoes, Pinkel (sausage), Kasseler and Kochwurst and is one of the most delicious things you can eat. In our region, it is a tradition to go on a "Kohltour" (Kale walk), often while Playing Boßeln (a team based game that is played during a walk on the streets) while it is very cold outside.
