A bunch of props that I made for an old piece but scrapped. Decided to let these props be their own piece. Learned a LOT about substance painter and how to use it more effectively and more about importing resources I made in Photoshop. For this piece I focused a lot on gathering proper reference. I learned how to utilize tools more effectively in substance painter such as generators and filters. Probably the biggest takeaway was learning how to create maps/alphas in photoshop and how to import and utilize them properly. You might notice the coins have extremely large UV's. I wanted the detail of them to shine through. There was no Toonie normal map so I created a height map in Photoshop from scratch and converted it into a normal map. I am extremely happy with these props, the briefcase by far is my favorite prop. Rendered in Iray.
Credit to https://www.artstation.com/daverig for the loonie and quarter normal map.
