Asset Overview
This model doesn't exist in real life and wouldn't be concreticizble, but design-wise, looks like any other high-end ergonomic chair.
This model isn't animated or rigged.
It is, however, composed of smaller components that can be moved independantly.
If this chair had really existed, it would have featured :
- Lumbar support, both adjustable in height and depth
- 3D armrests, which base can rotate (to use it with crossed legs), and which can be adjusted in height (thanks to the joints that could translate alongside the back frame)
- A tilting mechanism, hidden in a white metallic "base" to make things cleaner
- A lever for recline position and seat height
- A front knob for adjusting recline position tension
- 5 ceramic wheels for a smoother roll
From an engineering standpoint, the design I used would cause many issues :
- The seat wouldn't be able to recline along with the back
- The whole back is only supported by two small metallic bars at the bottom, that would easily make it wobble
