In 1963 the brand "Le Cyclope, émaux des glaciers, émaux des neiges was registered. Cart came from Thonon and was said to have been a scrap merchant who turned to pottery during the Second World War. Between 1958 and 1973 the pottery employed 3 or 4 potters depending on demand - these included Maurice Antonioz, André Ravaud, André Verrien and Jacky Lyard. The company closed in 1980. Production was generally for the local tourist market, with some utilitarian ware - serving plates, goblets, egg cups. text souce: http://anseta.com/designers/french/cyclope-pottery-annecy.php
