Package Overview

This collection of Medieval Dining Assets is perfect for anyone who is looking to populate a dining area for a lower class medieval home or tavern!

All assets are AAA quality, with realistic PBR shaders, but with an ever-so-slightly “stylized” look and proportions. They have also been intentionally created with a somewhat “generic,” but overall cohesive, design. Because of this, they can be used in a range of different projects, from “realistic” to “stylized realism,” etc. and shouldn’t ever feel out of place!

Polygon counts and texture resolutions reflect the intent that these assets are meant for modern PC and console games, from last gen (PS4/XBOX ONE) to current gen (PS5/XBOX Series S/X), however all assets still hold up quite well at LOD1 and could be used for lesser hardware (modern mobile devices, etc).

Many of the larger props have also been constructed with destruction in mind (for example, the fireplace has individual stone brick pieces), however I have not created the destruction assets, instead deciding to leave that up to the purchaser if they choose to create destruction meshes or not.

Ultimately, I see these as sort of “bridge” assets that would be ideal for the current version of Unity, as well as any future tech that might be coming our way! I could also see them used in AAA VR games, as the smaller props hold up especially well at a close distance. And, of course, they could certainly be used in other types of projects, such as for film and television production, etc.

This is my very first foray into Unity Asset Store, so depending on how well received this pack is, I fully intend to continue adding further sets, such as Kitchen, Bedroom, Living and all other types of assets one might find in a Medieval living space! I also plan to create modular building pieces for different medieval structures, and, perhaps further down the road, I’ll create packs for various “eras” in history, even up to modern day!

I do work full time as a 3D Artist, so future packs will need to be made in my spare time, but if you like what you see, I’d love to make more! Let me know in the comments!

Cheers!
