Package Overview

Pack contains 408 prefabs of wooden fences, walls and pillars. Models created in realistic style with PBR texturing.


MODEL INFO:

- MESH: «Gate» mesh types – 6, «Pillar» mesh types – 6, «Pillar wall» mesh types – 21, «Fence sections» mesh types – 35. Total: 68 mesh types.

- TEXTURES: 6 pre-made (2048 resolution) texture sets. Each set contains specific wood type.

- COLLISIONS: Custom collision meshes for all prefabs.

- PREFABS: Pack include 408 ready to use prefabs with assigned collision mesh: Door types – 36, Pillar types – 36, Pillar wall types – 126, Fence sections types – 210.

- CUSTOMIZATION: You can start from scratch and build your own fence type. See more info in Legend.doc file.


PBR TEXTURES INFO:

- SHADER: Textures created for Unity 5 Standard shader, metalness setup. Each texture set include: albedo, metalness (with gloss in alpha), normal (OpenGL), ambient occlusion maps in .tga and .png file format.

- COLOR RANGE: Textures created in linear color range. (however, asset can be used in Gamma color range too.

- SIZE: 2048x2048 px.

- Ambient Occlusion calculated separately for every fence type.


EXTRA INFO:

- Normal maps (for round corners) were baked from Hi-poly models.

- Textures can be easily scaled to the lower resolution without major quality loss.

- Meshes have clean geometry without unnecessary polygons (bottom polys are preserved).

- All meshes have reasonable pivot points.

- Model is fully unwrapped by hand.

- Model was not intended for subdivision.

- No third-party renderer or plug-ins needed.

- All models have 0 rotation.

- Disclaimer: If you need to use this pack with my other fence packs, containing pillars, you need to reassemble prefabs. Just drag and drop mesh files from Models folder, create new materials (with textures) and assign them. Thus you can avoid file overwriting, that occur when Unity think some files are similar.
