Ancient Egyptian Pottery

Located on the outskirts of the ancient Egyptian neighborhoods, this pottery makes the most sturdy pots from the typical red clay from the Nile. Our potter mixes the clay with water, shapes it on his potter wheel, and then bakes it in his kiln or in the sun. He is mostly concerned with function, but when he has the time he likes to paint them as well. As the smoke from the kiln is very bothersome, he lives quite a secluded life away from other villagers.
