3d model of the Route 3 Wave Black River, Watertown NY. This model will help us identify some of the issues at the wave and facilitate methods of removing the rocks that prevent the wave from forming properly. I have been working with the City of Watertown to bring this amazing wave back for all to enjoy. The city has taken a further step in contacting Scott Shipley, P.E. for redeveloping the river corridor and this is high on the list! Hoping to be surfing this wave agian in 2020!!! I created this using a Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 drone and PIX4d, I am a licensed land surveyor and former pro-kayaker that that hopes to bring this technology further into kayaking! Hope you enjoy this, it is lower quality then what I actually created so that I may share this easily.
