Asset Overview
Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter images overlaid onto a 3d map of Lalande Crater based on LOLA data and Apollo photos taken at an oblique angle. It will be shaped further over time, and be done in greater detail, and the images replaced with accurate textures. The crater is about 22 km across, and is located just south of the equator, near the center of the Moon's near side, on the edge of Oceanus Procellarum. It is between 2.2 and 2.8 billion years old, which makes it a young crater. This is the site of the first virtual colony of [Moonwards](https://www.moonwards.com).
