I was nine years old when our family went on a trip to Turkey. My father found this silver sailboat on the market and haggled over it for quite some time.
I enjoyed holding this model in hands, looking at the details, and was always amazed by how they did the sail and the ropes from metal.
Now when it comes to scanning, two of the thing I feared the most – scanning metal objects and small details. That's what the challenges are for!
The model is also pretty small, which posed another macro challenge.
Model created and decimated with Agisoft Metashape (it did such a great job with the ropes!). Shot with Canon 90d + 100mm macro lens.
