Asset Overview
For the alien plants assignment, we were introduced to curves and other methods for creating organic shapes such as... plants! We learned about curve warping and deformers, as well as other curve tools and NURBS geometry. The curve tools have proven useful for many of my projects since, and while creating the tentacles I learned a method to create "noodle arms" allowing me to bend the tentacles in such a way. I also got to take a look at emissives with my bulb plant.
