This ornate figure comes from the Ananda-gu-hpaya-gyi Buddhist temple in Bagan, Myanmar. The large, single-story temple is located within a walled enclosure with four gateways. The main structure has a solid core with four entrance halls leading to four shrines. The upper part of the complex was badly damaged by the 1975 earthquake but has since been restored and exhibits fine exterior decoration.
