Models are intended to be used with helmets/headwear on, but Spider GIrl and Pilot Girl helmets can be removed. 

You can remove certain elements from characters (gas canister from Scout Girl, jacket from Pilot Girl, tools on Bomber Girl, etc.)

Spider Girl has rigged bones to allow controlling her mechanical legs.
