Asset Overview
It is a private reserve of 6,078 hectares and it is one of the last remnants of dry forest of the Ecuadorian coast. It is located in the southeastern end of the Cordillera Chongón Colonche in the city of Guayaquil, Guayas Province. In 1989, 2,000 hectares of Protected Forest were declared, and it currently has 6078 hectares. It seeks to protect and rehabilitate a representative sample of national importance of the Tropical Dry Forest Region Bst, promoting the understanding, appreciation, delight of the public not to destroy it and keep it for present and future generations, both Ecuadorians and international visitors.
