A folly known as 'The Temple', remodelled in circa 1840. It is in the form of a rubble-built circular look-out tower with an encircling dry-stone rubble wall, which on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps contained trees. A battlemented parapet was added to the tower during the remodelling. Within the enclosing wall to the west of the tower there is a small enclosure containing burial monuments, including that of Francis Edward Carnegy.
