Asset Overview
The Cloch Fada or Long Stone is a large standing stone located in the Carnfree complex in Co. Roscommon. A secondary complex to Rathcroghan, carnfree was the inaugration place of the kings of the Ui Brien and O'Conner tribes. The standing stone sites inside a barrow features and may have played an important role withing the complex.
