Cypriot limestone head of a male statue of the Achaemenid period with Persian features: he wears a wreath with beads or acorns. The stylised treatment of the hair and beard is characteristically Persian.
Excavated within the Sanctuary of Apollo, Idalion, Dhali, Cyprus.
Date: 475 BC-450 BC.
