Near Redwood City Main Street.
From Rudolph Holmquist who established his hardware store back in 1895 and operated it for some 45 years. It's pretty rare to find pre-1906 buildings in the SF Bay Area. The building has been vacant for some years, ever since a fire destroyed much of its interior in 1954. This beautiful brick structure stands today as a reminder of the old city and, perhaps, one day may be restored.
