Asset Overview
The head, arms and legs of the Colossus were carved from white marble, and the rest of the body is made of brick and wood, (and possibly covered with gilded bronze). The figure would have been seated and about 12 meters high. The age of the Colossus is disputed but it is estimated to have been created between 312–315 but, underwent reworking sometime after 325.
