📍 [Isle of Rhé, Saint-Clément-des-Baleines, Poitou-Charentes, France](https://scaniver.se/L46.24293,-1.54421)
German bunkers fading into the sand on La Conche des Baleines (a northern beach on Ile de RĂ©, France). During World War II, German forces built concrete bunkers up and down the west coasts of Norway and France. These fortifications were known collectively as the Atlantic Wall, and it was this barrier that the Allies breached during the invasion of Normandy.
They're costly to remove so they will just remain until the elements take them back to nature. Only the 3D scans will remain.
Scanned with Scaniverse and the iPhone 13 Pro.
