A Stupa contains the remains of Buddhist monks or nuns and is used as a place of meditation. There are eight variants in Tibetan Buddhism representing different major events in the life of Gautama Buddha. Each form in the silhouette represents a teaching on the path of enlightenment.

- The upper lotus parasol and the crescent moon represents air
- The sun and the dissolving point represents the element of space
