Synthetic silk tapestry with colorful seed beads and plastic sequins portraying the Lwa (spirit) Ogou Ashade. Haitian Vodou drapo are used in ceremonies to honor the spirits. They have also become a major tourist art attraction. The spirit Ogou Ashade is a warrior spirit, and is portrayed here with his vèvè (sacred drawing) of a triange and military flags in his signature colors of red and bue.
