The biggest hydroelectric project in the history of Colombia, located in western Colombia, in the department of Antioquia, will have a height of 220m and will create a large 70 km long water mirror by the Cauca River, second largest in Colombia. The engine room will have eight turbines, 300 MWh each one capable of generating 2,400 MWh at full capacity.
Location: Municipalities of Briceño, Ituango and Toledo (Antioquia).
