Asset Overview
Intact anchor from MS Rauenthaler who sank after a collison with the smaller ship SS Signal in the Line strait between Linesøya and Stokkøya in Trøndelag, Norway.
The wreck rests on the seabed at 160 m depth and is inaccessible to scuba divers. We visited it with two Blueye Pioneer drones. It was located in 2011 by the Norwegian University of Technology and Science research vessel Günnerus, in collaboration with Åfjorden scuba diving club.
