Muramasa Katana

Muramasa Sengo was a famous swordsmith who founded the Muramasa school and lived during the Muromachi period (14th to 16th centuries) in Japan. Oscar Ratti and Adele Westbrook said that Muramasa "was a most skillful smith but a violent and ill-balanced mind verging on madness, that was supposed to have passed into his blades. They were popularly believed to hunger for blood and to impel their warrior to commit murder or suicide. **Reason Behind the Creation** I made this model to help me with storyboarding my manga **Guardians: Keepers of the Orb** The blade belongs to TK and was passed down within his family. After Tk had unlocked the blade from the scabbard a demon named Muramasa offered to help Tk find revenge. Tk accepted the blood oath and get possessed by Muramasa after releasing him from the sword. After he kills the scarafice Tk had offered him, he returns to the blade.
