An [incense boat](http://vocab.getty.edu/page/aat/300198818) in [gilt](http://vocab.getty.edu/page/aat/300053789) bronze, it has an oval body with a flat top and a six-sided stem and foot. There are two lids hinged in centre. The lid is decorated with a floral motif and two serpents curving up from the lid.
