Structure of polymerase and methyltransferase from PDB entries 1l9k and 2j7w. Each of these enzymes performs a different part of the life cycle. The polymerase builds new RNA strands based on the viral RNA and the methyltransferase adds methyl groups to the end of them after they are separated by helicase. They act to protect the RNA strand and coax the cell's ribosomes to create viral proteins based on them.
* Blue - Methyltransferase,

* Red - GTP ligand,
* Silver - SO4 ligand,
* Pink - SAH ligand.
