Package Overview

Stylized potion consisting of four meshes and three UV maps (the roots share UV map and materials in Maya), all non-overlapping. The meshes are separated for ease of use when importing into other rendering or game engines. The model consists of 6839 faces, 9528 tris and 4770 vertices. The flask itself is one combined mesh, and the lid can therefore not be taken off without simple modifications.

The flask is created using Autodesk Maya and Zbrush and exported to both .fbx and .obj formats. The textures are created using Substance Painter and exported for both Unity, Unreal Engine and PBR in 4096x4096 resolution. The Maya scene without textures are included in the product. Note, however, that the Substance Painter rendering scene is NOT included in the product.

In the zip-folder the following texture sets for different engines can be found:

  • Unity: AlbedoTransparency, ambientOcclusion, emission, height, metallicSmoothness and normal map
  • Unreal Engine 4: BaseColor, emissive, normal and occlusionRoughnessMetallic map
  • PBR Metallic Roughness: BaseColor, emissive, height, metallic, normal and roughness map
  • PBR Specular Glossiness: Diffuse, specular, glossiness, normal, height and emissive map

For each engine textures can be found for:

  • Four different liquid colors: Green, red, blue and light blue
  • Three different ornament/root colors: Brown, silver and gold
  • Two glass vial color: With green tint and regular glass

The colors of the glass, liquid and root ornaments can easily be mixed when applying them.

Note that the renders in the preview are the textures rendered in Substance Painter. If other colours are wished, the textures can easily be edited.

The previews above consist of:

  • Eight renders created in Substance Painter in a forest environment
  • Six renders created in Zbrush of the wireframed lowpoly mesh from four sides as well as bottom and top
  • Three screenshots from Maya, showing the three UV sets

The Youtube videos illustrate the highpoly model as well as the low poly model with wireframe.
