Asset Overview
Assignment was baking a high poly mesh onto a low poly, game ready model, and texture it realistically.
In my case a Stormtrooper helmet modeled right after the switch from republic to galactic empire. It still has the clone trooper markings, on the newer helmets.
A clean and a battleworn version
The model itself is optimized for a third person perspective, where the helmet will be seen worn on other players or ai-bots. The texture used is 2k and graypacked for performance.
polycount for the helmet alone is around 4600, with an intended polybudged of 25000 for a complete character.
The model was made in blender 3D, textured and baked in substance Painter.
