Community forestry is our working approach and management method for forest areas that we have chosen to make a contribution to solving the problems we face. The law governing the forestry sector has established community forestry as a new approach to acquiring community rights over forest areas. To date, more than a hundred local community forest concessions have already been granted to communities, including those affected by this project. Community forestry aims to make local communities true sustainable managers of forest resources for the benefit of improving socio-economic conditions.
