Asset Overview

This is an example of a protomylonite -- a kind of deformed rock where something less than half the mineral grains have become elongated and severely deformed. The dominant white mineral is plagioclase, the black mineral is biotite, and a significant amount of quartz (grey glassy) is also paresent.
