Bowl from roman villa of S. Cucufate, Alentejo, Portugal. Roman Empire (1st century AD to 5th century AD). Roman common-ware pottery. The bowl was used essentially for the individual consumption of liquid and semi-liquid foods, and their occasional use in the preparation and serving of meals. This specimen is 7 cm in height and 16,6 cm in diameter. Currently it is displayed in the permanent exhibition of the museum of S. Cucufate (Vila de Frades, Vidigueira). Catalog No. CUC. 01 3352.
