Package Overview

A Hachiman shrine (八幡神社) is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the kami Hachiman. It is the second most numerous type of Shinto shrine after those dedicated to Inari Ōkami.

With this pack, you can build as huge or as small Hachiman shrines as you want. Every shrine piece is modular so nothing is prebuilt. See the attached Marmoset viewer and screenshots for an example of what is possible with this pack.

These models are optimized to be used in various situations, ranging from visualization and animations to videogames. By utilizing weighted normals, realistic models are achieved with low polygon counts. Textures are utilizing Metalness PBR so they will respond realistically to the lighting of your scene. The models have been confirmed to work with Unreal Engine and they will work with Unity engine by inverting the roughness texture.

Included models:

  • 3 fence pieces with 2 texture variants
  • 1 lantern with 2 texture variants
  • 1 pathway
  • 3 shrine platform pieces
  • 11 shrine roof parts
  • 6 shrine wall parts
  • 1 Torii gate
  • 1 Temizuya
  • 2 support walls
  • 1 stairs

Models include the following textures:

  • Albedo (Some with variants)
  • Normal Map
  • Packed PBR (Roughness, Metalness, Ambient Occlusion)

The packaged PBR texture has the following textures assigned on RGB channels:

  • Red = Ambient Occlusion
  • Green = Roughness
  • Blue = Metalness

If you have any questions regarding the 3D models, please do not hesitate to send me a message :)

NOTE: The pack includes only the models related to the shrine. Vegetation, grass, trees, rocks and other environmental assets are not part of the pack and are used only to showcase the assets belonging to the pack.
