**Transposition of Great Arteries**
Status postoperative Rashkin procedure and Senning repair.
After fixation, there is a large bent paper clip “threaded” through the superior vena cava, thickened right atrium, right ventricle and out through the main pulmonary artery. The reconstructed and tri-chambered left atrium in the fixed specimen contains a smaller paper clip, threaded through the left ventricle and exiting into the ascending aorta. The arch and descending aspects of the latter are no longer in correct (i.e. post-mortem state) position, but due to processing are anteriorly oriented
