A neighboring anticline and syncline deform the Silurain tidal-flat carbonates of the Tonoloway Formation on Corridor H, West Virginia. This outcrop appears on the Grant/Hardy County Line in the central Valley & Ridge geologic province. The folds are parasitic structures on the regional-scale Patterson Creek Mountain Antinclinorium. The age of the folding is late Paleozoic (Alleghanian Orogeny).
