Package Overview

Running a forest scene densely filled with tree models is easy on the GPU, even mobile GPUs - when they have multiple LOD levels, reducing the polycount from millions to couple thousand polygons, just for your variety of trees in the scene.
Having billboards at the furthest LOD level cuts the polycount to 8 per tree, and renders 1 single 265px normal mapped Material.
This pack includes:
- 9 HD Conifer tree Models
- 5 Mobile Conifer tree Models
- 2 Juniper tree Models
- 2 Shaders ("PBR-Foliage" & "Snowy")
- 2 ShaderGraphs ("Foliage-LeavesWind" & "Snowy")
- 1024px textures, with normal & specular maps
- each model has 3-4 LOD levels
- billboards (256px) included, also all on the same Texture Atlas, for GPU optimisation
- polycount of ~50-1300 tris on HD models & ~30-1000 tris on mobile models
