Asset Overview

Discovered by workers excavating foundations for Sheffield Train Station in the 1860's. Dates back to the Carboniferous period c.300 million years ago and represents a Giant Club Moss or *Lycopod*, originally displayed in High Hazel's park before being moved to the Botanical Gardens. * Created through Photogrammetry using a Canon EOS 100D in automatic settings and quick shutter release for handheld capture. * Processed using Reality Capture, retopologised with AutoRemesher Beta and edges trimmed using AutoDesk MeshMixer. * 1m vertices reduced to <100k for optimisation.
