Asset Overview

A piece of garnet-bearing gneiss recovered from the Westland region of New Zealand. It is a metamorphic rock that formed deep inside the crust, and was then brought to the surface by fault motion and subsequent erosion. This model was constructed from photographs of a real specimen using Agisoft Metashape.
