Lamb Physical specimen held by the Moore Laboratory of Zoology, Occidental College, Los Angeles, CA Green Parakeets are highly social parakeets found in northern Central America. These parakeets will often form large flocks in the late afternoons before flying off to a communal roosting spot. In these large flocks, the Green Parakeets can be seen partaking in playful activities, such as foot holding, hanging upside down, and sharing food.
