Asset Overview
This enormous piece of petrified wood tree trunk was one of the largest fossils I have ever retrieved!
When I found it, it was underwater and wedged underneath another giant rock. We had to winch that rock away, make a sled, and then drag it 3km (2mi) back to the car. It took 3 days!
Sections of it has turned into fool's gold (iron pyrite) making it really shine in the sun.
