Asset Overview
Mica schist is a medium grained metamorphic rock which is well known for its platy foliated crystals in a single orientation and its reflective appearance. The rock is often composed of at least 50% or more platy, elongated schist crystals, however, quartz and feldspar can also be present and sometimes garnets.
