# Prefecture designated scenic natural monument
# 県指定名勝天然記念物 浄土松公園 きのこ岩
A rock that resembles a mushroom and enables one to distinguish the various layers of strata that are formed due to wind erosion. Since time immemorial, it has been known as a famous spot.
Due to the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011, part of the rock was destroyed, thus causing it to undergo a huge change.
Now, due to the danger of it collapsing and for conservation reasons, entry is prohibited.
