\nTropical Island Terrain \nThis environment package is ideal for your adventure missions on desktop or mobile platforms. It is highly configurable and the assets look perfect from close up making it ideal for first person games. The Unity terrain blends seamless into a low poly surrounding mesh, which in turn blends seamless into a terrain baked onto the skybox to create the feeling of an endless landscape of mountainous dunes. \n \nGeology: Tropical Archipelago Island \nThis island originated from shallow marine deposition of thinly bedded but well-cemented limestone. Falling sea level exposed the rock layers to periods of erosion. Once exposed to the elements windblown sand began to form dunes and add to the terrain along the coasts. Due to a lack of well-established drainage swamps and marshes often occur at or near sea level. In the surrounding shallow waters coral reefs form atolls, occasionally rising above the surface as narrow island chains.\n \n \nRocks: \nA set of 12 rocks and boulders. These are porous rocks and works well on mountainous parts of your scene. All rocks are low poly with multiple LODs and mobile ready with high res textures in case you need close up approaches. \n \nGeology - Rocks: Basalt, vesicular basalt, lava, basaltic lava \nThe pock-marked irregularities of this lava rock formed during its cooling while volatile gasses bubbled out of solution during eruption. These oozy basalt flows cooled and eroded rapidly in an ever changing landscape. They may be found in volcanic island chains or large continental fissure basalts.
\nProps: \nA set of game ready props modelled to create an adventure atmosphere. The ruins you find are, 3 x broken down stoned walls, 2 x broken windmills, 2 x semi-broken vases, 2 x old tree stumps and a caravan. All props are low poly with multiple LODs and mobile ready with high res textures in case you are targeting high end devices.\n
\nVegetation: \nThe vegetation has been designed specifically for this arid terrain with 5 x frangipani trees, 2 x short palm trees, 3 x tall palm trees, 2 x elephant ears, 1 x pink flower, 1 x white flower, 1 x red hibiscus, 1 x yellow hibiscus, 1 x red lily, 1 x purple lily, 1 x red leafed lily, 1 x white lily, 1 x saddeleaf, 3 x lily plants, 5 x leafy ferns, 2 x edelweiss, 1 x albedo plant, 1 x albedo grass and 1 x short grass. \n \nView the forum discussion here. \nView a fly through video of the terrain here. \n \nMultiple terrains: \nThis terrain is part of a huge set of terrains. \nTropical Island Terrain \nThis environment package is ideal for your adventure missions on desktop or mobile platforms. It is highly configurable and the assets look perfect from close up making it ideal for first person games. The Unity terrain blends seamless into a low poly surrounding mesh, which in turn blends seamless into a terrain baked onto the skybox to create the feeling of an endless landscape of mountainous dunes. \n \nGeology: Tropical Archipelago Island \nThis island originated from shallow marine deposition of thinly bedded but well-cemented limestone. Falling sea level exposed the rock layers to periods of erosion. Once exposed to the elements windblown sand began to form dunes and add to the terrain along the coasts. Due to a lack of well-established drainage swamps and marshes often occur at or near sea level. In the surrounding shallow waters coral reefs form atolls, occasionally rising above the surface as narrow island chains.\n \n \nRocks: \nA set of 12 rocks and boulders. These are porous rocks and works well on mountainous parts of your scene. All rocks are low poly with multiple LODs and mobile ready with high res textures in case you need close up approaches. \n \nGeology - Rocks: Basalt, vesicular basalt, lava, basaltic lava \nThe pock-marked irregularities of this lava rock formed during its cooling while volatile gasses bubbled out of solution during eruption.
