Asset Overview
Base of an old Puriri tree with vines, in Smith's Bush, Auckland, New Zealand. Their trunks get scars from where Puriri moth caterpillars burrow into the wood. After about five years the caterpillars turn into bright green moths with wingspans up to 15cm.
