Ideally tiling textures would be modulated in shader using the baked obj masks (e.g cavities, curvature, ao). ao and normal of obj and tiling surface normals would be blended there as well. To break up repetition of the tiling surface, one could use vertex painting or world aligned masks to blend to blend multiple tiling surfaces together.
