A section of sea cliff between Campbells Bay and Castor Bay, Auckland, New Zealand. I scanned the cliff because of its variety of textures, which from what I've read is because at this spot the layered Waitemata Series sandstone on the left changes to one of the Red Bluff volcanic grit beds on the right. The softer sandstone seems to have weathered faster than the harder Parnell grit.
