Advanced argillic alteration and silicification. The silicification of part of a dacitic ignimbrite along a fracture results in a hard silica ridge that stands out in the topography. A younger dacitic dyke intrudes the ignimbrite to the SSW of the silicified ridge (dark gray rocks), but it is not silicified and therefore it is more erodible and hardly visible.
The elevation difference between lowets and highest point of the scanned outcrop is about 20 - 25 m.
