Asset Overview

This is a videogrammetry scan of a pretty big chunk of Mount Etna in Italy featuring Silvestri Craters and approx. 3km^2 of terrain. All footage comes from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Au6WLtpiqNU Model was made in Agisoft software from 181 frames from this video. Mount Etna is one of the world's most active volcanoes and is in an almost constant state of activity. The fertile volcanic soils support extensive agriculture, with vineyards and orchards spread across the lower slopes of the mountain and the broad Plain of Catania to the south. Due to its history of recent activity and nearby population, Mount Etna has been designated a Decade Volcano by the United Nations. Silvestri Craters are located at 1900 meters above sea level, they were created in 1892 when Etna Volcano erupted.
