One of several stumps I captured at the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden. An amazing place to visit; the range of flora is spectacular and you get an incredible representation of several different biomes all presented naturally in a beautiful setting. I would highly recommend visiting. As for my experience with this model, what a pain leaves are! I imagine I will continue to experiment with techniques for cleaning up the capture of natural areas of high self occlusion. This is something I have dealt with a lot in capturing artifacts in a controlled setting, but have not really had to do a bunch in the wild.
