Archean tsunamite of the Mapepe Formation of the Fig Tree Group in the Barite Valley, Barberton Greenstone Belt, South Africa. Note spherules (rock vapor condensates presumably formed during meteorite impact) and angular shards of gray chert from the underlying Onverwacht Group. Approximately 3.2 Ga.
